I am a dedicated and compassionate Black woman therapist with a strong commitment to supporting individuals on their journey toward healing and self-discovery. Being from the African Diaspora, I understand firsthand the feeling of not completely belonging as well as the freedom that comes from starting a lifelong journey of healing.

As a person that continues to do the work to live as my most organic self while affirming who I desire to be in a world of isms; I personally love to do the work of discovering liberation with clients in session. With expertise in trauma recovery, racial trauma, emotion regulation, and navigating life changes, I am dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space for your healing and growth. Together, we will address the impacts of traumatic events, explore the complexities of racial experiences, develop strategies for managing emotions, and navigate transitions with resilience and empowerment.

My approach is centered around your unique needs, aiming to empower you on your journey toward healing and self-discovery. I might challenge your current navigation of the issues you are experiencing by reframing your narrative, and asking you to participate in different exercises to explore and encourage potential perspective shifts.

Our therapeutic journey will be guided by a range of effective modalities tailored to your unique needs and preferences. This includes a collaborative approach, where our partnership is built on collaboration and mutual respect. Your experiences and goals will guide the direction of our work together. I provide trauma-informed care, ensuring a safe and non-judgmental environment that understands the impact of trauma on every aspect of life. We'll also emphasize a strength-based perspective, highlighting your strengths and resilience to overcome challenges and build a more fulfilling life. Culturally affirmative practices are important to me, honoring your individuality and addressing the specific challenges you may face within your cultural background. Recognizing the mind-body connection, we'll explore somatic approaches to release stored tension and promote holistic healing.  I am EMDR trained, and able to offer EMDR to clients.

I am deeply committed to your well-being and growth. Together, we will create a customized path towards healing, resilience, and embracing your full potential. Your journey is unique, and I am here to support you every step of the way.

Remember, seeking support is an act of self-care and strength, and I'm honored to be a part of your transformative process.
